A new arrival

Snowpaw loved walking out of the apprentice's den every day. Lately she had found herself wishing that the weather would be sunny. However, once again she was greeted by clouds. As Snopaw was walking around camp she realized that she was near the nursery. Remembering that there was a new kit there she decided to go visit him. "Hello Gorsekit" Snowpaw greeted the newest kit in Windclan once she saw that everyone in the nursery was awake.

Gorsekit awoke with a yawn, stretching his gangly forelegs out in front of him. Blinking as his eyes adjusted to the grey light filtering into the nursery from outside, he nestled closer to his mother's warm belly, feeling a slight chill from a wandering breeze.

Aside from the typical stirring of the queens, and the clumsy scrambling about of the kits, the young tom was greeted by an unfamiliar scent and sound calling out his name. Glancing upwards, he saw a she-cat - older than him, but still young - an apprentice, he presumed.

"H-hello!" he chirped, put at ease by the fact that she seemed friendly.
