Molepaw's Moonstone Journey

Molepaw was awakened by the quiet voice of Fawnshine. Slowly, she crept out of the den a saw Fawnshine with a bundle of herbs. She stretched and are the herbs. They were bitter, but fortunately not too bad. She looked at the sky and saw that it was late. " I'm ready. Molepaw mewed, gazing at the evening moon. She felt calm, ready to visit the Moonstone.

Molepaw followed Fawnshine, her fur rustled lightly by the wind. It was a long and quiet walk, but it soothed her. Occasionally a monster would race by, but their stinking odors and bright lights would seem different tonight. I wonder if monsters die.. Molepaw thought. Would the monster have lifeless eyes after it's death? She kept walking, different thoughts coming to her each step of the way.

Fawnshine asked if Molepaw has anything she wanted answered from Starclan. Though she had many questions and wonders, one popped up to her mind. "I guess I would want them to answer one question for me.." Molepaw thought for a second, trying to find the right words to say. "Why do creatures die? Is it for the enjoyment of the killer, or the victim?" She continued. Could Starclan answer her questions..maybe. She still thought about the raccoon she killed. Is it in it's own Starclan, or did she send it into a dark world. Molepaw let the questions linger as she walked down the ancient path.

Molepaw listened to Fawnshine as she explained. "Yes, that all makes sense." Maybe the reason that life was a cycle, was for it to end. Molepaw continued walking in the ancient pawsteps of the path, excitement and anxiousness following. Starclan, full of wisdom and faith. She hoped that Starclan would give her wisdom and strength, and the answers to her haunting thoughts.

Molepaw entered a dark, narrow cave. She felt a bit scared, but knew Starclan was ahead. Soon, she came across an opening, leading to a beautiful cave filled with light. She saw the Moonstone, and was mesmerized by it's crystal-like glow.

Nodding at Fawnshine's instructions, Molepaw slowly walked to the stone, the stone floor cold on her paws. She crouched down in front of the Moonstone, closing her eyes as she touched her nose to the Moonstone. She shivered as the very cold feeling went through her body. Less than a heartbeat later, all Molepaw saw was a pitch black area.
