Snowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Smallbean climbed to the top of the Tallrock, staring down at the clan below him. Taking a deep breath, he summoned them. "All cats old enough to run the moors gather around the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

The Molly currently known as Snowkit was so excited when she heard Smallbean call a Clan meeting. Was this her time to become an apprentice? Beside Snowkit knowing that she was the age when she should be apprenticed, she was getting bored of being confined to the camp. Snowkit was grateful for having a place to shelter if needed, however she did not want to be stuck in there all the time for another moon.

Seeing that the kit was present, he continuted. "Snowkit, please step forward. You have now reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From now until you become a warrior, you will be known as Snowpaw. Your mentor will be Hawkheart." Leaping from the Tallrock, he joined the clan as they celebrated.

It was her time, Snowkit was ecstatic.

Snowkit stepped forward and almost tripped she hoped nobody had noticed. She proudly looked up into her Clan's deputy. It felt so good to be called Snowpaw.

Batsong sat proudly watching the young kit now become an apprentice. She cheered for her happily.

Daisybreeze also was very happy to see another apprentice join the ranks. Daisybreeze was also mentored by Hawkheart (who is her dad too) so she knew that Snowpaw would have a great mentor!
