Honeykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Smallbean skittered to the top of the Tallrock, calling out to his clan for another ceremony. "All cats old enough to run the moors gather around the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Honeykit bounded from the nursery. The short ginger she-cat's pelt blazed in the sun. She had the silliest grin on her face. Smallbean stood on Tallrock and she nodded to him. He was short too; and if he could be deputy, she could be anything!

Seeing that the kit was present, he continued. "Honeykit, please step forward. You have now reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From now until you become a warrior, you will be known as Honeypaw. Your mentor will be Scorchtalon. I entrust that he will teach you all that he knows." With that, the ceremony was over and Smallbean jumped form the Tallrock to join the crowd.

"I'll make WindClan proud!"

She turned to face her mentor Scorchtalon. Maybe Papa knew something about him, she'd have to ask.
