Plot Name: Under the Surface

Explain your Plot: Tensions have been brewing for the two remaining kits of the late Dawnhawk, Thistlemask and Crimsonflame. With ShadowClan cats staying in both of their camps, the past catches up to them both as forgotten rage threatens to spill over. ShadowClan, who harbors a cat the siblings believe murdered their brother, Apollo, all those moons ago, and Nightstalker, who lost his mentor and a cat who, to him, was like a second mother in the retaliation that resulted afterwards. And while Thistlemask may wish to avoid any more violence, Crimsonflame still feels as though justice needs to be served. And when Thistlemask tells him that not only had Nightstalker confessed to his brother's murder, but has also been harassing her, and threatening her livelihood, well Crimsonflame can't let that stand. But Nightstalker is a deputy, he couldn't take him down on his own. So he enlists the help of Frostpaw, a cat known to bend the rules when she sees it practical. She agrees, and they devise a plan to take Nightstalker down for his crimes. Frostpaw would track Nightstalker down, catching him alone, and Crimsonflame would attack him. And they think they've won when Nightstalker falls limp at their paws. But Nightstalker, knowing he could not win the fight, merely pretends to be dead, and they don't notice him holding his breath when he is pushed into the river.

How will this impact the characters/clans involved?: Frostpaw and Crimsonflame will become closer, having believed to accomplish this feat together. Crimsonflame grows to respect Frostpaw a lot more than he already had (and he already holds a lot of respect for her as it is). Nightstalker's rage will grow as he tries to find his way back to his Clan. Thistlemask will be horrified of Crimsonflame's actions, especially having done them on her behalf. And tensions will brew between the Clans, suffocating the air until eventually everything snaps.

Why should this plot be approved?: While this will not happen until September or November, it is something that has been coming for a while. Nightstalker had confessed to killing Apollo, even if he had not truly done it, and it is only a matter of time until Thistlemask tells Crimsonflame what she believes Nightstalker has done. And with Nightstalker tormenting his sister, it is only a matter of time until Crimsonflame feels something needs to be done about it. He already has murder on the brain, just for the wrong cat. And this may just lead to the conclusion we need.
