Apollo The Spy

Apollo walked into the shadowclan territory, he knew that he was in their territory, his mission was to try and learn more about this clan.  What their strenghts or weaknesses were.  Who was related to who? who would be the weakest links to target and so on.  So far he had seen a loud white cat walking throught the forest.  She was easy to hear coming and was hunting about but was oblivious to his presence.  She was talking to herself about a Ratrunner? hmm perhaps she was crazy? it mattered not. Now he knew one name he could use as an excuse.... Hmm yes im a friend of Ratrunner from now on I suppose. he grinned mascheviously to himself.

'Invasion Dice' :

Nightstalker looked... and felt rough. It seemed that every time he left the territory, he was bombarded by something, predators, rogues... one could only guess how exhausted he felt. Scars started to litter his pelt as if the stars were trying to etch themselves into his very skin and fur, battle wounds a mark to his survival at the very least. Nightstalker had decided to take a stroll, despite the dangers, yearning to just get out and stretch his legs without paying attention to his duties. But it appeared that would not be the case... he spotted another rogue on Shadowclan territory. Could they not leave them alone? Were they hunting their prey? Scouting? Anger boiled in his chest.

Settling into a crouch, his claws unsheathed. He'd show this rogue, and all the other ones that Shadowclan was not to be messed with, he'd see to it. Personally.

Once this filthy rogue scum was within range, Nightstalker launched out from his position, with a screech. Claws and paws slammed into the trespassing rogue, tossing them into the mud and snow with his weight and momentum.

Nightstalker used Jumping Strike! Dealing 8 damage (+3+1) and costing 7 SP

Apollo was hit suddenly he hissed in rage at the sudden pain that flooded his nerves.

So he had been spotted? No problem he would show this clan cat the fury of the forgotten order.

He growled in rage, he was a bit of a hothead and his fighting style reflected such.  He was a risk taker so at any opportunity to do something bording brave or stupid he would be the first to take that opportunity.

Sizing up his opponent he looked eerily similar in shape to the white warrior he had seen earlier but he looked much more serious... oh and their pelts were polar opposite color as well.

Seeing a possible opportunity that posed the most risk and highest reward apollo immediatly went for it the daredevil that he was.

He dove low attempting to get under Nightstalker to attack at the toms weakest spot.

Apollo used Belly Rake Costing 25 sp

Die roll success and deals 15 damage to Nightstalker

It worked perfectly and Apollo hit hard upwards clawing hard at the warriors weak and exposed underbelly drawing lots of blood giving no mercy. He grinned evily knowing that this would hurt alot

Nightstalker screeched with rage as he felt claws dig at his belly. It was not long before Nightstalker leaped away, and turned, pivoting on his paws before he launched back onto the rogue with an iron grasp. Battering at the tom beneath him with his claws viciously. He'd rip up everything he could touch.


Nightstalker used Leap and Hold Dealing 8(+1) damage and costing 15 SP. Apollo is pinned for two turns.

Apollo hissed as he is pinned

You seem to be a worthy opponent.  Perhaps I should target a weaker target next time... Like the white warrior I saw earlier.  Her pelt would line my nest quite nicely he grinned evily.  He wanted to make his opponent distracted and angry.  Angry opponents made mistakes and thats what he wanted.


Hoping his words help to distract the warrior he twisted suddenly atemptung to break the pin he was in.

Apollo used duck and twist costing 5 sp

It works he succesfully breaks the pin tossing Nightstalker to the side and dealing 7 damage. Perhaps I can get matching pelts actually, the contrast would look nice. he hissed adding onto his earlier comment

Is this the best shadowclan has to offer? Please ...I'm disappointed truthfully

"That large head of yours? I'll have it on a pike." Nightstalker growled, his fur bristling and hackles rising as he launched forwards and snapping his jaws around Apollo's ear.

Apollo yelped in pain as his ear had a chunk ripped off it. He growled in fury and rage. He spotted Nightstalkers big bushy tail nearby and grinned evily again he grabbed it in his jaws and bit down hard and gave a hard pull.

Nightstalker turned on his paws and ripped his claws down the rogues face with a grim sneer. "What? Got nothing to say, scum?" he snarled, shaking his tail free of spit and to ease the ache a bit.

Apollo was in alot of pain he knew he had to finish this now or never it was do or die.  He again saw an opportunity and took it.  He slid under Nightstalker attempting to get another belly hit like last time.

He clawed hard up at nightstalker drawing lots and lots of blood tearing his opponent apart he grinned doing so knowing the warrior would fall soon.

Ratrunner held a frog triumphantly in his jaws, fur slicked and stiff with cold. The mud had been mostly frozen, harsh against his paws, but with determination the warrior had uncovered the slimy creature from the murky mix of snow. Preserved in ice and mud; somewhat alive, if slow and nearly immobile. Come new-leaf, as the snow melted and the marsh came alive, so would the frog.

Or it would have. Now, it’ll fill our bellies, he thought. Maybe with Swiftheart’s assistance, he could’ve found others. It was cold and near frozen, and so we’re Ratrunner’s paws by the end of it: one dig was enough.

But then… he’d heard something.

Faint, really. But it almost sounded like a cry — a shout? Maybe I’m just imagining things, Ratrunner considered, ear twitching. In the deep, watery parts of the marsh — especially in times of mist or snow — you… heard things.

But I can’t ignore it. No… because what if it wasn’t? Even if it is some spirit.

Turning in the direction of the sound, his walk gradually sped into a run, warming his bones. Perhaps he’d feel foolish — but then, before long, he immediately went on alert. That’s the sound of cats fighting.

It was unmistakable. Senses sharpening, he pressed faster, dropping the frog into the snow — to be found by a patrol or a predator, it didn’t matter now. The black tabby weaved through tall, sharp pines, a foreboding feeling crawling up his spine.

This is where we fought the fox.

Ratrunner didn’t allow himself to slow. Is there another? The ice entered his heart. But it wasn’t a fox.

It was a flash of black, yellow eyes — sharp against snow — and ginger, caught together in a flurry of claws and blood. The scent of it filled him, stomach turning, and it felt almost surreal. Ratrunner almost skittered to a stop. What—!?

The two cats snarled at each other, and in the moonlight fur glistened with blood. One was black — like so many of his clanmates — but none, like the other, were ginger-and-white. Ratrunner’s tail lashed. And then his eyes widened, in recognition.

A manic look gleamed in the stranger’s eyes, and a savage strike took the dark one to the ground — but not before an equally savage blow struck the rogue. Ratrunner sprung from the shadows, fangs tearing into the rogue’s scruff.

It was soaked in blood.

His clanmate — Nightstalker — bled almost freely, but… I won’t let him suffer. Fangs sank into his attacker’s throat. And… it was over. Ratrunner staggered back.

Ratrunner used Killing Strike on Apollo, dealing the rest of his HP of 1. Apollo is dead.
