| Harvey tottered his way through the dense forest, a little clumsy with his movements. This stretch of the forest was completely unfamiliar to him, and the thick foliage blocked out any light that could help him find his way. His whiskers didn’t help much either— grass and underbrush kept brushing against his face and pelt as he weaved past, distracting the tom from being able to feel around. Harvey had almost walked head-first into a tree on multiple occasions. He was steadfast, however. He had spent a good amount of his time with Sunflower, earning his trust while extracting as much information about the clans as he could from him. The elder tom was skittish and an expert on getting into trouble, but Harvey treasured his company; Sunflower was almost like a father to him. Or a grandfather. A very afraid, clingy, sometimes unhelpful grandfather. Sunflower had told Harvey that this was where the clans were. It was a rough estimate, of course— Sunflower wasn’t good at giving directions, and Harvey wasn’t very good at following them— but Harvey was sure he was close. His untrained nose was picking up faint scents of cats left and right. Harvey hoped that they would be friendly. Or, at least, as harmless as Sunflower. The kittypet just wanted to talk, hear stories. Have an adventure or two. Nothing more… he’s fairly sure. Speaking of Sunflower, the gangly tom had promised to meet Harvey somewhere near here. Now that Harvey had stumbled his way into a thinner part of the forest, he was sure he would be able to find the ex-clan cat somewhere… ______________________________________ ❊ Briarkit | #ff9966 | 10/30 | WindClan Kit

| At first he wasn’t quite sure if he’d really remember the lay of the territories. After a bit of leading Harvey in what he hoped was the correct direction; through the brush, along the river, and so forth, the scenery grew to be more filled with trees. He wasn’t quite sure what ThunderClan smelled like, but an unfamiliar scent hit his nose and and he was sure that they were in the right general area at least.
Along the way, he’d grown more and more fond of his new friend. While he never was much of a talker, it had been so long since he’d genuinely enjoyed some-cat’s company and in his time of desperation and despair, StarClan had blessed him with a friend who he wished he could call a son. The lengthy tom overall didn’t say much when asked questions, but he didn’t mind Harvey’s curiosity at all. Hopefully ThunderClan would see how driven and clever of a cat Harvey was and accept them. Well, if they overlooked his cowardly pelt that was…
Having taken a moment to relieve himself, Sunflower had wandered away from Harvey for a little bit, seeing as though he could easily catch up to the smaller, blind tom. Making his way back to Harvey, he to no surprise managed to trip over a branch. Letting out an alarmed squeak, the long legged tom fell forward face first through a bush and landed conveniently behind the tortie. Well, that was one way to meet back up with him.
”S-sorry,” he honked softly, pushing himself up and giving his short pelt a shake. Looking around with his long tail tucked between his legs, he wondered if they’d run into any ThunderClanners anytime soon, or if they still had a ways to go. ______________________________________ ~ ice ice baby |

| It had been an uneventful day for the calico warrior, most of it being spent outside of the camp, avoiding the ShadowClan cats as they settled in for a stay of still undetermined length. As soon as she awoke and caught wind of their scent, and had her questions briefly answered by a different warrior, Thistlemask was gone. Not far of course; she loved ThunderClan too much to up and leave over this, but it was as if every fear she had was coming true. Is the tom who killed my brother still around? Had been a re-occurring thought, one that sent far too many emotions running through her.
Thistlemask had been a pure force of kinetic energy, ready to snap with even the slightest amount of tension. What Mottlerose said had been nice, of course, but if she was recognised-- How would the deputy defend one of her warriors wishing death upon an entire clan? For striking down an already wounded warrior, one who, for all she knew, might have actually just been defending his territory. Achelois' death had completely changed her mindset, and after Klaus was truly dead, the rest of her cruel and sadistic behaviour had faded away, leaving only mild suspicion and an inability to relax when worked up. But ShadowClan didn't know that - not like she did.
Sighing, she kept up her pace, hoping to burn out the worries with any amount of exercise. It wasn't completely helping, but the wet grass on her paws was somewhat grounding. For the briefest moment everything whirling in her brain was still, but was broken by the scents and sounds of unfamiliar cats just beyond the border. On instinct, Thistlemask bristled, but forced her fur to lie flat as she was aware whoever it was hadn't done anything wrong - at least not yet - and she had no grounds to get aggressive.
The molly skirted a bush, watching an incredibly lanky, oddly shaped tom regain his footing, a calico tom with closed eyes leading him in. Without even thinking, a noise of amusement and shock left her, and she slapped her tail over her mouth, eyes wide as she worried whether they would attack her or not. But, looking over the duo, Thistlemask somehow knew she wasn't under any real threat.
"Who -" and what, she thought, eyes narrowing at the pure white tom, "- are you, and why are you both so close to the ThunderClan border?" ______________________________________ character profiles | aussieThistlemask | ThunderClan T4 Warrior | #9f0fa8 Grebedance | RiverClan T3 Warrior | #00bc91 Turtlepaw | ThunderClan Apprentice | #eda324 |
