Dreamyflight took a step in a small puddle, greeting the season of Greenleaf. She was hunting for prey with a small group of warriors and apprentices. "Isn't the new season wonderful, Maggotpaw?" She asked her own apprentice, hoping for a response a little less fancy than his normal ones.

Time went on while Dreamyflight walked through the forest, as she scented out a squirrel. Dreamyflight croushed down, slowly dtepping towards it. She took a big leap in the air and landed right on top of it. "Sorry, little guy." Dreamyflight used her sharp, feline claws to kill the prey. She dug up the ground, and dropped the small rodent into the pit. "Phew! And that's how you catch a squirrel, Maggotpaw!"

Maggotpaw sighed, gave a soft smile, and replied quietly. "Yeah... It's nice." He muttered, shying his gaze away from his mentor. He slinked silently away while he smelt his surroundings, finding a bird to catch. He clambered a tree, following the scent of a bird he was getting ever-closer to. Finally, he felt he was close enough to catch it, that and if he got much closer to the bird the branch would be his downfall, literally.

And so, Maggotpaw took a leap and attempted to bite into the bird..

..And lost his balance..

..And Fell.
And to add insult to injury, it just so HAPPENS to be that he had found a hawk and not a cute little songbird... Fun. He scrambled away from the eagle while saying to himself "I messed up I messed up I MESSED UP!!" While he ran back to Dreamyfight.. He had not looked at the bird and he paid the price for doing so.
