Back to Normal (Closed)

Ashstorm waited a bit after she awoke to give the newly named apprentice some time to rest.  It had been a little bit since she had trained an apprentice.  She looked forward to it and her hope was that she would train them well.  It also gave her a needed break.  Even though she was training an apprentice, it felt normal, and feeling normal was not exactly something she could say much recently.

The grey she-cat walked towards the apprentice den.  She was thankful that the clouds covered the sun this morning.  Once she arrived, she sat outside the den.  "Pinepaw?" The she-cat softly called into the den.  "Are you ready to start training?"

The tom snored like a bear, still well asleep. A voice stirred him awake.

“Ashstorm, is that you?” Pinepaw asked groggily.

“Training…? Oh, oh! Yeah, that would be great.”

The bengal patterned tom rose to his paws and bounded out of the den, landing in front of the deputy. He could barely contain his excitement now that he was awake. Pinepaw, future warrior of SkyClan!

“Are we gonna battle train today? Or climb? Or what?!”
