Shrikestar climbed to the top of the Tallrock. It was his first time leading a warrior ceremony since becoming leader, and he couldn't help but smile. This was going to be good for the clan, who could use all the warriors it could get. "All cats old enough to run the moors gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Blazepaw trotted over to the Tallrock, fur neatly groomed except for a single mat on the right side of her head. No amount of clawing was getting that out, so she gave up. Teal eyes sparkling, she sat down and waited.

Shrikestorm looked down at the apprentice, soon to become a warrior. "Blazepaw, you are now ready to become a warrior. You have shown your worth to the clan, and for that, you will be rewarded with your name. From now on, you will be known as Blazefang. May StarClan bless this ceremony and may you bring pride to WindClan."
Brackenwing had quietly watched the ceremony, sitting near the edge of the crowd. She and Blazepaw had had the same mentor, though hadn't really trained much together and Brackenwing, ever the shy introvert, had mostly kept her distance from her denmates.
Blazefang. The name suited her, Brackenwing thought. When the ceremony concluded, the padded forward, "Congratulations, Blazefang!" She offered quietly, then stepped away to allow their other clanmates to congratulate Windclan's newest warrior.
