It was time for another apprentice to be named a warrior. Frostgaze was more than happy with this development, more warriors was never a bad thing for their clan. "All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, gather in the shadow of Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" He called the clan to order, standing atop the Jaggedrock in order to make himself seen.
Harepaw's head lifted as Frostgaze called the clan together for another meeting. A ceremony, probably, and she had to wonder whose. Admittedly, she was just a tiny bit impatient for her own warrior ceremony, and the tortoiseshell padded over, hopeful that this one might just be hers. Stars knew there had been enough of them recently, and her training had progressed well. Clearly it was only a matter of time.
As Harepaw appeared, Frostgaze began the ceremony. "ShadowClan! I've summoned you here today to witness the naming of a new warrior. Harepaw, please step forward." The deputy waited for Harepaw to do so before he continued. "I call upon all those present and watching to gaze upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Harepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Frostgaze began the ceremony, and Harepaw felt a thrill of excitement as her name was called. Head held high, the tortoiseshell padded forward. She was trying, trying to remain outwardly calm, though excitement still showed in her mismatched eyes and the slight bounce to her step as she approached the jaggedrock.
She still wasn't sure about Starclan, but she did know that she would do anything for her clan. "I do." Her voice was clear and steady as Harepaw could make it as she gazed up at Frostgaze.
As he heard the words, Frostgaze gave a nod. "Then it is my honor to name you a warrior before all witnesses present. Harepaw, from this day forward you will be known as Harechaser. ShadowClan honors you, and we are proud to welcome you as a warrior in our ranks." Quietly leaping from the Jaggedrock, Frostgaze rested his head upon his apprentice's, finishing out the ceremony.
Swiftheart heard the gathering call and quickly went out to see the ceromony.
She purred happily as her apprentice and younger sister was named Harechaser now. Swiftheart was so excited and cheered loudly for the newest warrior of their clan.
Happily walking over to her sister, she nuzzled her shoulder playfully "Congrats! You totally earned it." she sais encouraging

Harechaser. She was Harechaser now. She couldn't help her grin as Frostgaze concluded the ceremony and her now-former mentor approached. "Of course I did, I had you for a mentor." She purred, leaning into her older sister's touch.
Mistyfalcon had watched the ceremony quietly, though the closed-off, weary tom was all but beaming with pride as another of his kits became a warrior in their own right. "The name suits you, Harechaser. Congratulations." He purred, then stepped away so the rest of the clan could offer their own congratulations to her.
