Ryekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Shrikestorm climbed to the top of the Tallrock and addressed the clan. "All cats old enough to run the moors gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Ryekit emerged from the nursery, a bigger kit than his siblings. From head to toe he was groomed to perfection and his mother Ashfall seemed to be very proud of him and the progress that he had made as a cat and as a member of Windclan.

The black stripped silver tom seemed determined to get a good mentor...if he didn't get a good mentor he would still 'accept' them within the clan but then he would also seek out another mentor to make sure that he was best in everything.

"Ryekit, you have reached the age of six moons. From now until you reach warriorhood, you will be known as Ryepaw. Goldenstar will be your mentor."

Ryepaw looked at the leader. "Thank you, I accept Goldenstar as my leader and my mentor." he leaned and touched noses with her, accepting her formally as his mentor.
