WindClan Camp - Morning

Whisperpaw, admittedly, was a bit nervous about approaching Goldenstar. Whisperpaw had yet to actually speak to the leader or the deputy outside of their apprentice ceremony, and so they were feeling a bit nervous about doing something wrong. Goldenstar felt so…out of reach; and they didn’t know if that was an air she intended to put off or if it was just Whiserpaw’s own nerves.

They took a deep breath and shook their head. Goldenstar was the leader for a reason, and Whisperpaw was certain that she was a kind cat. They cautiously approached the leader when she was outside of her den, and during a rare moment of having no one at her side.

“Good morning, Goldenstar,” Whisperpaw mewed. They sat before the she-cat. “I wanted to know if I could talk to you about something.” They glanced back over their shoulder, catching no sight of Lionfur. They hoped that the Dark Forest cat was truly not around. “I was speaking with one of our—guests. It left me a little confused.” They looked back to their leader, their eyes filled with the confusion of a young cat needing guidance. “StarClan would never…trick a cat, right?”
