Magpiepaw's Warrior Ceremony

Shrikestorm headed to the top of the Tallrock, calling out to his clan. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Magpiepaw stayed in her seat as Shrikestorm called to Windclan, mostly uninterested but raised her eyes anyway. If the deputy was calling the meeting, it was probably an apprentice ceremony and didn't concern her. Only out of politeness did she pay any attention at all, but even then she continued with her meal as before.

Batsong attended the meeting sitting at the base of tallrock, she wondered what this meeting was going to be about. Hopefully it was good news of someone being promoted or such and not bad news.

"Magpiepaw, you have done everything necessary to become a warrior. From now on, you will be known as Magpiesight. I'm sure you will be a warrior that is a credit to WindClan."

The second the Magpiepaw heard her name, she leapt to her feet, smugly trotting towards tallrock. So this was her warrior ceremony. She managed to contain her excitement enough for Shrikestorm to finish speaking, instead adopting what she believed to be a 'professional' expression. "I will!" The newly-named Magpiesight said in response. She would be a credit, to herself and to her clan. But of course, as always, herself came first.

"Magpiesight! Magpiesight!" Swiftspirit's voice joined that of the rest of the clan as she congratulated their newest warrior. When the chanting died down a bit, she padded forward, pride shining in her eyes as she affectionately bumped the newly-named warrior's shoulder with her own. "I'm proud of you, Magpiesight. Congratulations!"

Batsong purred happily , w-w...way to go Magpiesight! she cheered her clanmate on with her stutter.
