Dark eyes, devoid of passions like the riverwaters upon a moonless night, fixed upon Tinypool; features devoid of any tells, even when further conversation transpired on behalf of the young Moon, as Jaystar evidently deliberated the quiet-spoken molly with a newly refined attention. If there was any outward indication of such formal proceedings within the bounds of his tiresome head, it was lost to the roiling currents of always lingering irritation oozing from neatly poised muscles. To refuse the tom would be fully within his rights, nor could any seminal authority stand against his judgement- the reality of which was tempting, that which his temperament and nonexistent patience for the unusual situation unfolding before him.
But doing so would likely result in nothing more than an even more acute headache, which already roared within the pounding circuit ways of his nervous systems, and ruffled pride. Besides, what was the true trouble of keeping one more kinship together in the absence of his own? "I am finely aware of the workings that bring those lost back to familiar shores," Jaystar eventually rumbled out, tenuous voice pointed as he made to finally address Tinypool, unblinking wine-dark gaze fixing sharply upon the smaller molly, "but if you wish to take responsibility, I am not one to digress."
Training his own young counterparts, all of which had been born within the security of the Clan and remained there for their lives, had been irksome enough with the constant ear-chewing; he couldn't imagine the burden of handling one such as Moon. Especially with those wayward glances exchanged between the two. "I expect Moon to emerge with nothing but the proper mannerisms of a RiverClan Warrior, Tinypool," Jaystar warned in lieu of a proper dismissal, not entirely keen of continuing the proceedings for much longer, "be certain you provide and instill such qualities. This season is unforgiving, we have no room for those who can not fully adapt."
