updates and announcements
1. Leafbare continues to leave its mark on cats of call clans. Predators are more plentiful, hunting is difficult, and wounds are plenty. Check out how this impacts your characters using the hunting system here.
2. With the sitewide lurking over the horizon, major plots will be put on hold in terms of approval. This will happen around March. If a plot is larger than a personal character plot, it will not be approved during that time. Any questions or concerns as to whether a plot would be acceptable during this time can be directed towards staff. We are looking forward to what is coming up!
3. Given recent changes and us always wanting feedback, staff would like to remind the site of the anon feedback submission form found here
4. Another round of changes is coming to the battle system, mostly minor tweaks and rule changes. When a proposed patch is available, we will be sending out the proposal along with a survey for input on changes and suggestions. Keep your eyes peeled for that announcement!
quote of the month (submissions)
The quote of the month is designed to display the fun, inspiring, or impactful dialogue that our userbase comes up with. Quotes can be submitted at any time but staff will only select eligible quotes from the month prior to the release of the newsletter. Our goal is to feature different characters from all different clans and various users. Quotes will be selected by staff from the submitted pool and will be shared alongside their origin topic, along with the character name, roleplayer, and context for the quote.
Quotes can be submitted in the form linked. Please feel free to submit multiple quotes during every monthly time period. All submissions are anonymous, so of course you may submit your own as well. Below you can find some brief notes of major things happening on the site. Please note this section will only cover events impacting multiple clans or the whole forest. Please visit your local clan pages for information on in clan details.
- Basilbloom was called to set out in search of a mysterious new herb. Medicine cats and cats from all clans have accompanied her on this journey, leaving the clans in a precarious places as their medicine cats seek out something that will aid them for the future.
- After the death of a rogue on Shadowclan territory, an attack was launched. Thankfully, the camp was spared but Shadowclan was left with many wounds and a powerful enemy...
- Minkstar's final life has begun to slip away and Stoatfur begins to take his place as leader of Thunderclan. Without a medicine cat to guide him, he prepares to walk this path alone.
