Ebonyhaze's Medicine Cat Apprentice Ceremony

It had been about a half moon since Cloverheart had first talked with Ebonyhaze, and in that time he’d become an almost invaluable presence. He was a quick learner, and he seemed just as eager to learn about herbs as she had been when she'd started down the path of a medicine cat. After a few conversations, she was certain of her choice to bring him to Highstones; now all she needed was to wait for him to appear from his den as she'd asked.

Hovering near the entrance to camp, Cloverheart gave the stars a quick look, half expecting something to leap down from the heavens and tell her she was wrong. When nothing came, she took a steadying breath and bent down to lap up the bundle of traveling herbs she'd set aside for herself and nudged the other leaf wrap in the direction Ebonyhaze would be coming from.
