Through The Trees

Dawnfeather had waited a while after their apprentice ceremonies. Just to make sure their mentors got the chance to teach her little sisters what they needed to know. Not that she’d avoided them- quite the opposite. She gave them both a gentle lick between the ears when she ducked in every morning to wake her apprentices before dawn. Now, though- now they could have fun! And lots of it! She’d waited until the sun was at least peeking over the horizon. Didn’t want to wake them too early. They might not like that.

The young warrior ducked inside the apprentice den, laying her tail over Beetle’s back and giving Hollowpaw a gentle lick between the ears. Him and Antpaw were going on a patrol today- she’d arranged it so today was all for her and her sisters.

A gentle paw prodded their pelts. “Holly, Wasp! Come on! We get to go climbing today!” She purposefully kept her voice low, but it was impossible to keep the excitement out of her voice!

There was a light groan from Wasppaw as she simply just turn the other way and continue sleeping. Though in eh process accidentally half smothering HOllypaw, despite her sarcastic and not very nice comments, she does adore her siblings. Though she does hope Slatekit one day will join them...

"We're going what...?" The apprentice mumbles yawning, she couldn't think of climbing right now as she sat up and stretched, before grooming her fur as they were all ruffled from the night sleep. She was still somewhat groggy and she stared up at her big sister. "But don't we do a lot of climbing around here?"
