A Cool, Marshy Morning (C)

Dappledpaw lay in her nest, wondering what she would do today. She began to groom her pelt and felt some sunlight cross her pelt. She swiftly got up and stepped into the camp's morning light. She walked over to a sunny spot in camp and sat down. At least she could warm up her pelt...or not...leaffall made the mornings cool and she felt a small chill run through her. Her short fur didn't help her much with the chill. Dappledpaw saw a black and white pelt in the corner of her eye, but didn't pay much attention to the cat.
