The Decision

Before Sassypaw bent down to hunt a mouse, she smelt a familer scent, and spotted a fluffy black tail,
"D-d-darkshadow?" She whispered, creeping closer.

Gleaming, golen eyes flickred from the shadows. "Hello, Sassypaw." She meowed darkly, stepping out from cover to approach her former apprentice, her mottled, clumped fur dragging on the ground. "I'm happy to see you."

Sassypaw gasped,"What happened to you?" She scanned her disgusting coat, full of gritty dirt and debis. "Who will teach me further? No one will be able to." She cried, sinking her head into her fluffy shoulder. "I missed you..."

She let out a sigh of misery, resting her chin on Sassypaws head. "You don't have to miss me," She began, pulling away to look at the apprentice in the eyes.

Sassypaw looked into her cold, yellow eyes. "It's just hard... No one will never be able to teach me... I will never be a warrior," She murmured, then she looked away to reduce the anchor in her heart to sink further.

She hissed, her fur standing on end and puffing out to twice its size. "No. They already took him away from me. I won't let a little exile get into our way!"

She jumped back in fear, she never saw her this angry. Then she remembered, the day when it happened. She dared not to speak. "How can we train then?" She whispered, her voice was squeaky, and her pupils almost clouded out the saphire.

She smirked. "I'll takeyu to Twolegplace. I have a cap set-up there were we can rest safely."

Sasspaw looked around to make sure no one was looking. "Alright," She mewed,

She smirked, baring her jagged fangs beneath her mouth. "Excellent." She purred.

Sassypaw grinned, but it faded away, as she looked behind her. "What if my clan searches for me, Then they'll never let me hunt alone."

She snarled. "I'll kill any cat who lays a paw on you," She meowed confidentially, unsheathing her claws. "I've already done it before."

Her heart pounded, "You killed!?" She gasped

She flicked her tail. "That's the reason I left. After assassinating Goldenstar, she banned me from ever setting paw on her territory."

"Well, we better go before Goldenstar sees you then," She crept forward, ready to follow her.
