| Cat Name : Rabbitkit Clan : WindClan What are the duties of a medicine cat? : To above all care for their sick clan mates and guide their leader in omens and warnings from StarClan. Of course any cat in any clan has to put their clan above themselves, but Medicine Cats must take this a step further. Medicine Cats may not take a mate, as a mate and kits might distract them from their duty. Also there is no one (besides their apprentice) to allow them to take a break. They are always working as a cat can get sick or injured any time, and even if none are they must be prepared with herbs and the knowledge to care for them. They don't get a break, but they also get the pride and satisfaction in caring for their clan mates. What would you do with this position? : Rabbitkit wants to grow up to know everything. While obviously he can't this drives him forward in his pursuit of knowledge. Whether that be fighting, hunting, learning about his clanmates, or the history of the clans, there is nothing he doesn't want to know. This is what draws him towards being a Medicine Cat. He's a bit of a hothead, as in he thinks he could learn everything. But as Medicine Cat he would get the privilege to care for and always be there for each and every clanmate, as well as learn all he can about the moorlands and learn every herb there. He wants to use more than just his body for his clan, he wants to use his brain. Why you think you deserve this position? : I'm a new roleplayer here but plan to be fairly active! The past few days I have not been as we've had meetings and inventory at my place of employment to close out our fiscal year (which ended June 30th) but now that that is done with for the year I should have plenty of time! I've been writing since I was younger, mostly fanfictions on wattpad (lol) but one of them has 107k views (not trying to brag, just showcase that I'm a fluid writer). I'd be willing to do some test/practice roleplays for this position as an interview of sorts if that is something that can be done!
