thrushnose’s quest for knowledge [potential reqs]

in short, now that asylum’s gone, thrushnose is trying to get stronger the only way she knows how: by...learning stuff

this is open to any outsiders and non-thunderclan clan cats (though thrush/windclan topics will have to happen at fourtrees, since they don’t share a border). they can teach thrush anything a thunderclan-born cat might not know, from history to culture to skills they’ve picked up as a clan cat/outsider, and it can happen in any context you can think of, from a friendly conversation to a border skirmish! all that matters is that thrush learns something during the encounter...and who knows, your cat could get knowledge, requirements, and/or a friend out of it, too :eyes emoji:

note: this will not affect thrush’s stats/hunting rolls/available battle moves or make her stronger in any other concrete way - it’s purely for a coping mechanism fun!

Probably fishing and/or swimming!
(However take their fishing lessons with a bag of salt because they have... Unique styles of fishing)

here's the topic!

I could throw Frigidpaw (ShadowClan) at her. He is a Knowledge-Thirsty apprentice that would definitely be willing to exchange some little bits of info here and there in exchange for some knowledge of her own as well.

If Thrush is good enough at convincing, he could even teach her a couple of tricks on how to move through the undergrowth with the stealthiness so characteristic of ShadowClanners and/or how to use the shadows in her favor.

Thrush could meet Tawny by the river and she could teach her some moves she learned at the Asylum. (I did intensive research, and there is a small part where WindClan and ThunderClan have a border there)

full disclosure, i just got vaccinated so posts might be slow for a bit depending on how badly it goofs me up but:

I would prefer if you made the topic, since I am going to be driving for a bit (and alas Frizz has also made the statement that there is not, in fact, a WindClan ThunderClan border, sadly. It was simply an error on the map. So I guess the thread WILL have to be at four trees)

Maybe you would like to make the topic? I think a border crossing situation could be the best way to go here if you can think of a reason behind why would Thrush cross it. After all, unlike most of the clan, Frigid wouldn't attack her on sight if she crossed the border for any reason, but would still be both cautious and curious enough to approach her and ask why she has crossed said border.

That could part of the mutual curiosity that would eventually lead to an exchange of information.

in that case, i can make it (though it might take a few days)! thrush had a border skirmish with a shadowclan cat a little bit ago; i can see her hanging around there, possibly looking for a rematch on better/more official terms, and running into frigidpaw instead
