Cherrykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Bloodstrike woke early and climbed the leader's den. Now that newleaf was here, he started to look for any kind of replacement for the Tall Branch that had been burned away last greenleaf. He'd try to find something suitable soon that wasn't where the leader slept. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather around me for a clan meeting!" His voice rang out. Then he comfortably say on the leader's den and waited. Now that he was feeling a bit better, he was more happy to do these. Cherrykit would certainly be happy today, and a new apprentice's joy had a tendency to be contagious.

Cherrykit stirred when Bloodstrike called out to the Clan, and he happily bounded towards the collection of cats.

The tom was getting to be about six moons- was this the day? Could it be the day?!

His whole body shook with wiggles, barely able to contain himself. He looked at the deputy with wide copper eyes, a smile forming on his lips.

Bloodstrike waited as the clan gathered below him. Once he felt a reasonable amount of time had passed, his green eyes went to the wiggly Cherrykit. "Cherrykit step forward. You have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to become an apprentice. From today, until the day you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Cherrypaw. Your mentor will be Tuftwing. I trust that your new mentor will train you well in the ways of Skyclan."

Bloodstrike spotted Tuftwing in the crowd and gave the new mentor a nod. That would conclude the meeting.
