Anger That's Been Locked Up To Long

Flame shook his head and looked at his son. "Let it go." He said. "My time is coming soon and that is all you can accept. Just know that I am proud to have you as a son."

"And i'm proud to have you as a dad.." He sighed, he didn't want flamepelt to die.

"How long?"
Were Sunset's first words, stepping from her hiding place.

"Sunset, greetings." He mewed.

She dipped her head.
turning back to Flame, she asked,
"How long, do you think, until you die?"

Shiningpride looked at her daughter and then thought about her dad. She looked back at Flame and remembered how much she loved him more then Panther. She turned away as she felt a pain in her chest not being able to look her daughter in the eyes. "Flame.. Are you okay?" She turned toward him her eyes clouded with pain.

He began to growl, "Flame, i thhought you said you weren't a cheater! Apparently, you're a liar."

Shiningpride looked at bramble. "Your father is not a cheater, he loves your mother. Him and everybody else was a long time ago and nothing has happend or will happen. And yes just because i have strong feelings for your father doesnt mean they are returned." She finshed with a growl. "AND I would never do that to your mother, she is a amazing she cat and a great friend and i would never hurt her."

Sunset looked at her hard. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't really believe her.

She turned to her daughter and met her hard gaze. "If you dont believe me that is fine Sunset, but i do love your father. Just because we are seperated doesnt mean i dont. And if you think its hard on you not seeing your father, what about me not seeing my mate and watching it slowly die away. You have bramble and he loves you very much, and i love you very much, so be thankfull that you have that."

She nodded. That was all she could really do, because her mind was clouded and feelings were mixed.

Flamepelt looked at the mother and daughter and looked at his son. "I love your mother very much and promised her no more. I would kill myself before I hurt your mother and you know that." He looked at Shining and sighed. Then looked at Sunset. "It's coming quickly, but who knows."

"Please, you can't..."
Her voice was stricken with grief for her mate's father.

Shiningpride looked at sun. "We cant live forever." She sighed.

She sighed.
"I klnow... but its always painful..."
