| The she-cat stood before the clan, with them, not above them... she was in no proper position to address them as any sort of leader. Grizzled black fur was sparse with flecks of gray lining. Once a glorious warrior, now she was little more than a former fighter who had been set to retire. This duty of keeping the clan together seemed to be placed on her shoulders for what little time she had left, and only because the air of wisdom due to age, "Let all cats gather for a clan meeting."
A mild call still perked the interests of her defeated kin and clan, once they were together, the she-cat tried to force steel into her voice for one moment; this ceremony deserved something proper, even if she had nothing more than a weak will and the desire to stir about hope with the naming of more warriors, "Flurrypaw, step forward."
Another beat as the young tom was called forward, "I ask the stars to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn our ways and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Flurrypaw, do you promise to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She met his gaze with an even stare, sizing him up as any leader might do. But regardless, the reason for his ceremony was enough; Flurrypaw would leave here today with a warrior name to throw at any passing Asylum cat.
ooc; if you havent seen her yet this is unnamed windclan warrior and she will be here to help speed your ceremony along. just dont think too hard about it lol |

| Flurrypaw trembled as a chilled wind bit through his thin fur. He had spent the past moon horribly cold and the constant sensation of being watched made his fur rise, not helping his predicament. The Asylum cats confused and worried him. They arrived, unafraid of fighting, and forced the clans into submission. Flurrypaw couldn't leave camp alone. He had tried to comfort himself by thinking that, if he had to leave camp, there would be a cat watching over him. But would they protect him? They had no real reason to keep him safe. Flurrypaw only served as another number under their control, and one less of the hundreds wouldn't make a difference. This gloom and dread always hung over the tom's head. He had already far surpassed the age to become a warrior, or even the amount of time it takes a cat to become a full medicine cat. His size matched most of the apprentices but he felt out of place. Flurrypaw couldn't really form a bond with his denmates like he had Clearstone. He would join his friend as a warrior today, but would the other tom care? Clearstone was stronger, larger, and better in every way. Flurrypaw was just... a cat. He couldn't fight. He could barely hunt. Even leaving camp took insurmountable energy, so how could he really serve WindClan? Flurrypaw covered his nose with his paws.
Then, unnamed WindClan warrior's call reached him. Flurrypaw pushed himself to his paws and looked blearily up at her. The cold made his eyes feel dry and sticky but he forced himself to not blink too much. Everyone's gaze was on him as his paws took him to the front of the group where he would get his warrior name. Flurrypaw had asked to choose his own name in honor of Foxspirit's endless guidance. He was sure he had grown tired of his ineptitude, and he wanted to make her proud as a warrior. How, he didn't know. "I do," his voice managed. He sounded tired. Flurrypaw had tried to hide his pain and fear and exhaustion from his clanmates. The only cat who seemed to care was Softbreeze, as everyone else was busy. She had tried to help him but he shut her out even though he desperately wanted to confide in her. Maybe he could make a change starting now.
Ooc: I love unnamed WindClan warrior, she is perfect! And sorry it's so late! |

| (Just going to casually step in here) Lilacstar smiled down at the tom before her. He had come so far since he was a kit, and she was so proud. "Then from this moment on, you will be known as Flurryfox. Like a mother fox for her pups, and like your mentor for you, WindClan honors your compassion and bravery, and we welcome you as a warrior."
Lilacstar dipped her head, pressing her nose to the tom's forehead, before stepping back to start the chant. "Flurryfox! Flurryfox!" ______________________________________ Addercrest | Lilyvalley | Elmstorm | Thistledown T2 ThunderClan Warrior | T5 ShadowClan Warrior | T2 RiverClan Warrior | WindClan T2 Warrior |
