A space explosion (closed)

Nova padded into the asylum camp with a bored expression. So far nothing was going wrong in his assigned clan and he was starting to get bored. Why could they have assigned him a fun clan instead. Nova nodded at the other cats he passed before sitting outside the standard quarters. Nova didn't mind his rank of course as he was open to do any job that was needed to be done. As his tail wrapped around his black paws, Nova wondered why they were still here. He grew up in the asylum after they saved him, but they never really stayed in once place for very long. What was so special about these clan cats that made them stay.

Eclipse padded into camp with several fish hanging from her mouth, the large tortoiseshell she cat dropped them in the kill pile before stretching. She narrowed green eyes before spotting somebody from their clan and padded over. “Hey. Which clan are you assigned to?” The nightstriker meowed looking down at the the sitting tom.

Nova looked up to see a pretty tortie she-cat. "Im assigned thunderclan, and you?" he asked with a bored tone. Nova grew up with the asylum but still didn't know everyone.

“Riverclan. How’s Thunderclan? Is it as boring at Riverclan?” Eclipse meowed taking a seat next to the the tom. She wrapped her tail around her paws neatly and looked at the tom waiting for a response.

He watched as she took a seat next to him. "Not much is happening, well a litter of 10 was born, that was major." he said with a slight smile. "Im Nova by the way, what's your name? Sorry even though I was raised by the asylum I still don't know everyone." he mewed as his Fur blowed wild when a big gust of wind came.

A litter of 10! That was a lot of mouths to feed even before the asylum conquered the clans. “I’m Eclipse, I was born and raised in oasis but I also don’t know very many cats.” Eclipse meowed flicking her ear. “A litter of 10 huh? Way to go for the mom I guess. Do you think they’ll end up with clan ideals or our ideals?” She meowed.

Nova thought about it for a moment. "Well they were born with asylum everywhere already but also in a clan so maybe both?" he said thinking hard on the subject now.

Eclipse thought for a moment. “You’re right they might have both. I think it’d be better if they had ours more than the clans though as we took over the clans. The clans can’t do anything about it though I’ll give them credit for giving up instead of fighting against us like the last group of cats we conquered, they’re smarter than them.” She meowed giving a shrug.

Nova nodded in agreement. "The younger cats don't mind us as much as the older cats which I don't mind, the young are better, and cuter." He mewed moving to a laying down position.

Eclipse nodded. “Yeah they’re cute until they grow up.” She meowed with a sigh thinking of all the other kits she’s watched grow up. She remembered how young she was when she helped burn down oasis she was maybe 5-6 moons old. It seemed like such a long time ago. “It stinks of fish in Riverclan and it’s almost the only thing you can catch and eat there. With this leaf bare prey is scarce as it is good is good but I’m real tired of it. What about Thunderclan are you tired of squirrels and mice?” She meowed.

"I have gotten used to it as it was the prey i always ate before even being assigned thunderclan. The clan cats just hate the way I eat." He mewed.

Eclipse narrowed her eyes. “What do you mean they hate the way you eat?” She meowed in an icy tone annoyed by the antics of the clan cats. Who were they to judge others by how they ate?

Nova smiled at Eclipse and then opened his mouth to explain. "even as a kit, when I ate, I always ripped my prey into tiny pieces to make it easier to eat. That of course leaves a big mess, and the clan cats hate that." He mewed starting to get hungry as he talked about food.

Eclipse rolled her eyes. “That’s not bad I used to do that when I was young too. These stupid clan cats just can’t handle cats being different. It’s obvious from the way they act around us. Sooner or later they’ll have to accept us.” The tortoiseshell she cat meowed.

Nova noticed it was getting late and smiled at her. "Sorry but I kinda want to get some sleep before I have to head back." he mewed waving bye with his tail as he padded into the standard quarters.
