Will there be code-breaking?: Does it count if Asylum has abolished that part of the warrior code and has encouraged medicine cats to take mates?
Explain your Plot: Beechface and Wrenspring have always been oddly friendly with each other. He’s a source of comfort as Beechface struggles with first being named medicine cat, losing her mentor, and now the looming threat of Asylum and her own brother. Maybe they find too much comfort in each other.
Beechface mysteriously winds up pregnant and they... pretty much immediately spill the beans to Wolfstar, looking like the guilty puppy that chewed up and destroyed your expensive couch while you were out. Recognizes it was wrong, but not at all sorry or regretful about it.
Beechface and Wrenspring have exactly one* kit, as a treat. Ravenclaw, being a wonderful sister and just as in love with Wrenspring as her Beechface is, steps in to cover for Beechface and raises the kit as her own alongside Wrenspring. Blossomstep might also help cover for them because she's a supportive grandmother.
*one kit because we’ve already got the dawn/eos litter and [redacted] coming up as well. I’d be okay with having a sibling too but no more than two kits for this litter. Kit wouldn’t be born until after Smokefeather hits t5 (January 15th) regardless.
How will this impact the characters/clans involved?:Wrenspring starts screaming and doesn't stop. More code-loyal cats would disapprove of the already-unorthodox medicine cat breaking the code. Wolfstar wrongly thinks Beechface is the favorite grandchild, maybe he can be convinced to actually punish her, or maybe skyclan’s nepotistic ways prevail and this would lead to a loss of respect/resentment from clanmates? I could see it possibly breeding resentment from Ravenclaw towards Beechface in the future possibly, as she's raising the kit of the cat she loves and her sister as her own. The kit would think of Ravenclaw as her mother, and would likely be shocked and a little upset if she were to ever find out about the truth in the future.
Why should this plot be approved?: Give Beech something to be happy about for a bit, character development? Ravenclaw doesn’t deserve this tbf. I think it would open up some fun rp opportunities, as well.
