Can’t help but play (OPEN)

It was a chilly morning, and a slight breeze washed over the camp. Leaves would float in the air, on the path to their next destinations.

Emberkit was trying to stay still as he watched every single thing pass by him. His head would dart from side to side, admiring the flying bugs, to the crawling ants. Emberkit finally lost his patience, starting to pounce onto a small ladybug. “I cash it.” he murmured in kit speak. “Liddy Bug as no chans.”

The fluffy white tom jumped right over the spotted red bug, and landed himself in a small pile of red leaves. “Oop-“ he whispered. “Big miss.”

Wisteriabloom had been spending even more time near and in the nursery, with her adopted daughter Snakekit still being a kit. She was rapidly growing up, however, and would soon be an apprentice. As she was passing the nursery, she spotted a young-looking kit hunting some bugs. A small smile of amusement crossed her face as she watched him miss, and instead land in a heap on a pile of leaves.

"Be careful!" she smiled, "Don't want you getting hurt!"
