Orchard at Dawn [closed]

Applekit had been looking for Softbreeze. Mostly he'd wanted to ask her about a cold one of his denmates had and how she was treating it, but as he poked his nose inside one of the few protected areas in WindClan's camp, but instead he found Morningdove, sleeping curled up in one of the nests. Applekit cautiously stepped inside. He'd never actually gotten the chance to speak to her -- mostly because he couldn't remember ever seeing her awake.

Applekit had been very tiny when she'd gotten hurt; too tiny to remember anything other than her life here in the medicine den. He was a little older now, though, with a genuine interest in training under Softbreeze (although he hadn't said anything to her about it). "I've heard stories about you. Pretty brave stuff." He scuffed the dirt with his paw, mostly just... talking to himself. He didn't want to wake her up if he could avoid it; Softbreeze might have been mad. She needed to rest, he was pretty sure.
