rosethorn shook her head "im not sure anymore brightfire redpelt sent a spark in me that windtooth didnt" she thought to her sister.

"Rosethorn. It is not right to be with Redpelt. You know that. At least you should. You are betraying your clan. Please do not do what I did. Rosethorn I beg you to stop this."

rosethorns eyes snaped up "what did you do? what did you do that was similar to this and not tell me?" rosethorn almost spoke outloud.

Brightfire looked away, hurt from remembering her past. "I fell in love. I fell in love with Flamepelt. And that destroyed me."

rosethorn felt the pain wave almost overwelm her and thought "i would get up but dont want to stur him" looking at redpelt "i know how it hurts brightfire but i dont care now cause of how we both feel about each other, i dont belive thats going to change" she thought clossing her eyes.

"Rosethorn!" Brightfire hissed at her sister's stubbornness. "You need to think about how Redpelt feels. He might like being with you now but soon you will die and he will stay here. And then what? What are you going to do? Wait for him? What if HE finds someone else? Will you be happy for him? What if you are just his Windtooth and there is someone better for him? You don't know do you? Well sister. You must do what's better for him and for your kits. Will they accept the fact that their mother is going against what they believe in. What you've always told them? Rosethorn. Leave Redpelt to live his life in his clan please. It is for the best." Brightfire looked down and a tear fell. She didn't want her sister hurt. She didn't want her to feel the same pain she once had.

rosethorn tightend her jaw and thought hard even "if he found someone i would be happy for him cause then i would know that i was the wrong one and he found the right one" a tear fell down her face.

"That's a lie Rosethorn. You'd feel horrible. You wouldn't be the least bit happy. Think of all your kits now Rosethorn. You had so many with Windtooth. Do they really want you to do this?" Brightfire asked her.
