Streamtail nodded her thanks, before turning back towards her own border. “I think I better leave now. It’s getting quite late and I need to get back to camp before anyone worries about me. It was nice meeting you, Clovertwist.” With a final nod, Streamtail swished her long tail, padding away silently. She hoped to meet Clovertwist again one day, she needed more friends outside the Clan.

Clovertwist watched as his new friend turned, excusing herself politely. She mewed kindly about meeting him and he replied, "Hey, same with you, Streamtail. Hope you have a nice day." He watched as she began to pad away, and he did the same, turning back towards the less treacherous parts of the moors. He sighed, thinking, Alright, focus. Can't go back empty-pawed. And then he began to lope back along the moors, feeling a little lighter after the short, friendly talk.
