Hello WCC! We have good news to share.

You might have noticed we made some changes to the way your profile appears on site. Now, instead of two buttons for male and female, there is a text field (much like your quote, your hobbies, or your humor) where you can add your gender. It's a much needed update for ease of access for all members, and whether you're male, female, non-binary, prefer not to say, or something else entirely, you have 35 characters to let us know so we can make everybody feel welcomed and comfortable.

All the praise goes to Ember, our dear member who raised concerns and gave us all the tools to make the change.

We, of course, also have to issue a warning due to the nature of this announcement. Staff asks that this be taken seriously. Everyone has the right to express themselves and be proud, so long as it is appropriate. Abuse of the gender marker will directly handled by staff if it violates a site rule or is overtly insensitive.
