The white tom smiled pleasantly and shook his head. "No, Willowpaw, I don't believe I do," Lightstep answered. "The greatest wisdom in life we have to discover for ourselves, but I hope our talk was of some use to you. May you walk with StarClan - with love, and honor." The stars around them began to flicker, and Lightstep began to fade. As his stark white coat faded into nothingness, he meowed, "Be safe, Willowpaw." Then he, and StarClan, were gone.

"You too," she answered, "and thank you." She drifted back into wakefulness and saw Spiderquill still there, waiting for her. She was glad at how her Moonstone Journey had gone. Though she didn't feel much different from before, she felt one step closer to being a warrior.
