| Ebonypaw saw Ashpaw’s impressive catch, and was slightly impressed. Suddenly, she spotted a lizard scampering around, and decided to go for it. Without wasting another moment, she leaped, pinning the unfortunate lizard under her paws. The lizard squealed, and wriggled out of her paws, dashing through the pine trees. Ebonypaw sighed, then collected her two pieces of prey. She turned towards Ashpaw. “Wanna go back?”
Ebonypaw attempted to catch a lizard, catch unsuccessful.

| "You can head back first," Ashpaw replied, "I'll catch some more before I go." With that said, she scanned the clearing, watching for any signs movement. Again. Maybe she should try a different tactic. "Whatever," she muttered out loud. The clan needs food. Suddenly, she spotted a few white feathers poking out from behind a bush. Dropping into her hunting crouch once again, she checked the wind before stalking towards the thrush, keeping her paw steps light and making sure she didn't make any noise. With a mighty leap, she flung herself over the bush, expecting to feel feathers beneath her paws. Instead, she was met with hard dirt. She had miscalculated, and the thrush shrieked before flying away. Sighing, Ashpaw collected her two - only two! - pieces of prey and headed back to camp.
Ashpaw attempted unsuccessfully to hunt a thrush.

| Ebonypaw picked up her toad and bird, sighing in disappointment. “Guess I’m not a great hunter then...” She mumbled through the prey.
