The oak trees in dawn (Closed)

Oakstar padded across the camp. A slight wind blew and it chilled his pelt, but he barely felt it beneath his thick layer of fur. His amber gaze peered into the warrior's den for a moment, before landing on a familiar tortoiseshell shape. The dens were a respite from the cold, but Oakstar couldn't think of a better cat to patrol with right now than his own daughter, whom he gently nudged with a paw.

"Dawngaze... come. Let's patrol." He offered, then slipped away through sleeping and sometimes grooming bodies of his clanmates. He could hardly blame them for preserving energy and warmth from the chill, but borders had to be patrolled and hunted. He turned to see if she was following him. A smile on his muzzle as he felt delight at getting to spend a bit of quality time with her after moons of rearing the latest litter.
