| "Crowspirit! Crowspirit!"
Goldengale's voice raised to the sky just as the rest of her family, and the entire clan. Her eyes sparkled with joy and pride as she watched the exchange between the newly named warrior and their leader, and she smiled knowingly as her son turned to approach Spotlake first. She had noted the two of them and the amount of time they spent together, and a rough purr sounded in her throat as Clovertwist commented on it. Heart warm, she waited until the two had shared their moment in peace before standing to make her way over to her son. She stumbled slightly on her first step, and cast a sideways glance at her father - begging him not to say anything before regaining her composure to stand behind her brother as he congratulated WindClan's newest warrior.
As Clovertwist stepped to the side, Goldengale stepped up, her face bright and shining with excitement. Placing her head on her son's, and taking in once again that she didn't have to bend over to do so, she licked his ears once and mewed. "Congratulations, Crowspirit. It's a wonderful name, and suits you well. I'm so proud of you, my son." Stepping back with a grin, she touched her nose to his before stepping back to let others follow, her son had made quite a name for himself during her absence. How would she tell Grousefrost their son's new name? Downpw and Softpaw yowled in unison. Their older nephew was a warrior now! After Goldengale stepped back, the two cats ran up to the newly named warrior.
"Congratulations, Crowspirit!" Softpaw chirped.
"What's it like being a warrior? Are you gonna miss sleeping in the apprentices den? How awesome was it when Finchstar called your name? What do you think of your new name? What do you think mine will be?" | The tom turned to meet his uncle, nudging Clovertwist’s shoulder in return. The tip of his tail twitched a bit in embarrassment as the older tom complimented him, but his tone reflected his joy. “Thanks, Clovertwist! Can’t wait to join you in the den!”
Crowspirit heard pawsteps behind him, and curled his tail in happiness as he saw his mother approaching, and he nuzzled her affectionately. ”Thank you, Mom.”
He turned as Downpaw bounded towards him, pouring out a flood of questions. “Well, I’m afraid that it might get a bit boring without you in the den!” His whiskers twitched in amusement, as he let out a mrrow of humor. “I’m sure it won’t be long before you join me, though. As for what it’s like being a warrior, I’ll still have to find that out!” Crowspirit tapped Downpaw’s nose playfully, grinning. ______________________________________  ~ ShadowClan Deputy ~Remind Me To Post!
