Adventure is out there! (closed)

Flopping over onto her side, Tulipkit let out a long yawn, her eyes still groggy from having just woken up. Sun shined through the dimly lit nursery, which was good news, seeing as though today was the day that the young she-kit would go on her first adventure from the nursery and into the big, wide world. Lifting her head, she spotted her sister, Rookkit, just a few pawsteps away, and pushing herself up, she clumsily waddled over to her sleeping littermate and plopped herself down. Placing her muzzle against her sister's she took in a deep breath, trying not to squeal from excited anticipation.

"Rookkit. Pssstttt... Rookkit!" She whispered just soft enough as to not wake their mother as she nudged her sister’s dark pelt. ""I’m going on an adventure, you should come!"" She mewed, her small white paws kneading the mossy ground bellow with excitement. Whether Rookkit wanted to accompany her or not, Tulipkit wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

The larger, dark-furred kitten grunted and rolled over away from her sister's noise, huffing. She didn't like being woken up and especially not by her loud sister. When it became obvious Tulipkit wasn't going to get the message, Rookkit cocked open one bright yellow eye and turned her head to look at her littermate, grumbling, "What do you want, an adventure? I'm trying to sleep..." Rookkit paused, flicking her tail tip irritably. An adventure outside of camp did sound kinda fun, actually. The thrill of not being caught and getting to see what ShadowClan territory looked like would be exciting... Rookkit heaved herself to her paws and padded out of the nursery ahead of Tulipkit. She spoke in hushed tones, looking back over her shoulder at her sister. Fine, I'll go. But you have to be quiet, no yelling."

Watching as her sister got up and began to leave the safety of the den, Tulipkit shook her fluffy white and ginger pelt in excitement. "Okay!" she whispered, bounding after Rookkit, a big grin on her maw and her eyes twinkling with eagerness.

Leaving the camp boundaries, Tulipkit jumped and twirled around her sister, oo-ing and awe-ing at practically everything that they crossed paths with, whether it was a blade of grass or a bush. "Look at all of this Rookkit!" she gasped, pausing for a moment to examine a stray pine cone before scampering after her sister once more. "Adventure is out there!" she howled, her head and tail high as she gave her littermate a playful nudge on the shoulder.
