Deerpaw's Moonstone Journey

Deerpaw nodded. "Yes." He said. He did want to become a warrior.

"Good," Antdrop mewed bluntly. "It may sound simple, but stay loyal to your clanmates," the lean, black tom mewed, shifting his weight from shoulder to shoulder. "I've seen countless cats your age make decisions based on their gut and not the warrior code... and what their choices ended up being nothing more than mistakes," the warrior pointed out and with that, he stood up and gave his dark pelt a shake, ready to finish their little conversation, but not leaving just yet.

Deerpaw nodded in agreement with the Starclan cat. He had a feeling the conversation would be over. But not quite yet.

"Well, that's pretty much all I've got for you," he began with a small sigh before giving Deerpaw a curt dip of his head. "I wish you the best of luck in your warrior training and may the stars light your path." With that, the black tom padded away, soon disappearing from the apprentice's view and leaving nothing more than a trail of star-dust behind.
