| The sound of rushing water, the swaying of the grass, the atmosphere is too peaceful for what will soon occur...Once Drippy posts, I will post then the battle will begin! |

| Lynxtail's ears twitched as he arrived at the edge of the river. The dull roaring sound of rushing water helped to keep his mind quiet, and he often found himself seeking out its comforting sound when the loud voices and constant motion of Thunderclan's camp were too much for him. The young tom stared pensively into the churning water, too preoccupied to notice if any cat was approaching. The Gorge wasn't near Thunderclan territory, and he knew he wasn't supposed to be there, but who else would give up one of the last sunny days of Leaf-fall to watch the gorge? No, Lynxtail was sure that he wouldn't be disturbed. ______________________________________ Sunleap – T1 TC Warrior – #009966 | Bearpaw – TC Apprentice – #0066ff Feral/ #006666 Forest Bear's 1/2 Feral Buffs- Spoiler:

| Rabbitleaf was enjoying the light mist of water that came off the gorge, the way it moistened, but not wet his fur. Having so much fluff was a nuisance at times, particularly on days when the temperature felt more like Greenleaf than Leafbare. It would have been a peaceful walk, one without a concern but alas, he was not alone. Across the gorge was a ThunderClanner, it was a tad deep into RiverClan territory, but that was hardly his concern. His concern was that this cat didn't seem to respect borders, so rather hypocritically, he crossed into RiverClan territory boldly to question the other cat. "Are you lost, shrew?"
Battle is go! Feel free to just RP it out more if you want. If you don't attack in your next post, I'll have rabbit attack. |

| Lynxtail stood, his eyes flashing, a sharp retort at the ready. "Is that the best you could do?" He sneered. The last thing he wanted was to deal with another sympathetic do-gooder offering to take his place on patrol or bringing him moss for his nest. Just the thought of another cat asking him how he was feeling made the young tom's fur prickle with annoyance. How insensitive could a cat be? "I know how you feel..." Yeah, right. It was suffocating.
Lynxtail could hear his heartbeat pounding in his ears. The golden-brown warrior sized up his opponent, lifting his lip in a snarl. "'Guess I'll give you a pass. After all, I'm sure you don't get much practice starting fights, being from Windclan." The tom's ears flattened. "Let a real warrior show you how it's done." With that, he reared onto his hind paws, slashing blindly at the Windclanner's face and neck. He grinned with satisfaction as he felt his claws connect with something solid.
Lynxtail used Rear-Up to Slash, dealing 13 damage and using 15 SP
Rabbitleaf: 27/40 (-13) 120/120
Lynxtail: 60/60 185/200 (-15) ______________________________________ Sunleap – T1 TC Warrior – #009966 | Bearpaw – TC Apprentice – #0066ff Feral/ #006666 Forest Bear's 1/2 Feral Buffs- Spoiler:

| This was the first time he'd really fought against another cat, the last time he'd been in a fight, he'd fought a fox with warriors taking the damage for him. The sting of the ThunderClan Warrior's claws surprised him in their bite, and momentarily, he was stunned out of pain. When he finally came too, he lashed out by grasping at the first thing he could with his jaws, which happened to be the warrior's tail. Giving it a harsh yank, he panted out. "Is... Is that... Is that the best you can do?"
Though his words were cocky, his laboured breath gave him away.
Rabbitleaf used Tail Yank -3 HP -10 SP
Rabbitleaf: 27/40 HP 110/120 SP
Lynxtail: 57/60 HP 185/200 SP |
