| Deadpaw's fur bristled. "I'm not a kit! I've been an apprentice for a few days, and I've been given a bit of battle practice," he replied sharply. He stood still, then shook his head, his fur flat and eyes softer. "I'm sorry," he chipped in apologetically. "It's true I'm not a kit, but you are definetly stronger than me. I wouldn't want to face you in battle!" he joked. Deadpaw tore off a wing of the hawk, and carried it easily to Goldenstar's den. ______________________________________ i was fish the whole time, surprise
