Quick border skirmish (closed)

Having been on an evening hunting patrol, an unfamiliar scent hit the tom's nose and his hackles immediately rose. Creeping up to the Thunderpath, the large warrior scanned the area. "Who's there?" he called out, fangs bared and ready to defend his territory at a moment's notice.

"I am. What about it?" Spottedleap meowed from the other side, sensing the other tom's tension and feeling his own fur stick up in response. He'd left camp behind in a bid to find some peace, but maybe an aggressive encounter would also improve his mood.

"You better not cross that border any farther, you mousebrained tree jumper," Daisyflame snarled to the spotted tom that had stepped onto the path. The tom didn't seem to be going any further, but he wouldn't have any trouble fighting him if need be...

His twisted smirk hardened into an angered snarl, teeth bared against indignation. How dare this random warrior reprimand him for something he hadn't even done yet? This other tom was older than him, probably an experienced fighter, but the path was clear and Spottedleap was in a bad mood. Provided neither of them died, there would be no bad blood between their clans expect for on a personal level. "Come over here and make me, swamp rat!" He hissed, taking two more steps onto the path.

So he did dare to challenge him. Well, now that he was all fired up, a good battle wouldn't hurt anyone... in the long run, or so he hoped. "I think I will!" Daisyflame snarled back, and bounding over the Thunderpath, the battle begun.

Charging at his opponent, Daisyflame sprung onto the tom's spotted back and used his weight to pin him down. While down, the ShadowClanner raked his claws down the SkyClanner's side.

Daisyflame used Leap and Hold, causing 11 damage and costing 10 stamina. Spottedleap is held for 1 turn.

Crouching defensively as the older tom charged at him, Spottedleap braced for impact. He wasn't one to run from a fight. He took the blow, staggering as his opponent landed squarely on top of him, then shifted hard enough to throw the pair of them against the hard path. He rolled away from Daisyflame, moving out of reach of an instinctive kick with an arrogant smirk.

Spottedleap used Duck and Twist, dealing 9 damage and using 25 stamina.

Letting out a huff from being punched in the belly, Daisyflame forced himself to get up, his fur on end and tail straight up in the air. Ducking down, the ginger and white tom slid under his opponents belly and kicking his up hind legs, slashed at the SkyClanner's exposed underbelly with paws full of sharp claws before jumping up, his bushy tail lashing back and forth and back arched.

Daisyflame used Belly Rake, dealing 12 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Recoiling from the attack on his sensitive stomach, Spottedleap jumped and pulled away as claws met flesh. He responded in anger, snarling and rearing on his hind legs. It left his stomach even more exposed, but the blows he rained down on the ShadowClan tom's face were worth it.

Letting out a yowl as paws full of sharp claws hit against his face, Daisyflame met him back and slashed unsheathed claws at his opponents face. That was sure to leave a mark.
