"Spottedleap! Spottedleap!" the lean warrior mewed, his soft voice easily muffled under his clanmate's cheers. He approved of his father's choice and knew that the tom would lead their clan strongly whenever his father passed. Choosing a deputy was tricky business, especially with so many good warriors to choose from.
