Early Morning Forays [Closed]

The morning mist had barely lifted off the river's banks when it parted to reveal Torrentstar, with two apprentices in tow. The RiverClan leader cast a quick glance up and down the shore, before turning to face Tigerpaw and Cloudpaw. "This place will do." He declared, with a slight nod of his head. "The two of you should try to catch one piece of prey each." Originally a part of the dawn patrol, the three of them had made a detour from the way back home to hunt. This turn of events might have seemed peculiar to the young toms, but this was a practice Torrentstar was beginning to pick up of late. Taking two apprentices with him on the dawn patrol allowed him to spend some time with them, monitoring their growth. Now that he was leader, monitoring the apprentices was mainly Ivybrook's role. Even so, it did not hurt for him to put in a little extra effort here and there. "Let me see what you have learned from your mentors."
