A Shaded Sunset (Open)

Shade watched the sunset from the nursery turning her head back to glance at her mother, Silent Snows, from time to time. She didn't feel tired as she curled her tail up, starting to stalk, a leaf, it was blown by the wind, orange light shining on it, adventure awaits her tonight, she knew that as well as anyone who knew her well, but the only cat that knew her well was herself. She often drifted away from family activities, however she did enjoy play fights, sometimes. Her nose twitched as she watched the leaf flitter around, the wind began to press harder on her fur and she leaped, catching the green leaf between her paws, careful not to crush it. She carefully tucked the leaf behind her ear, and purred with satisfaction.

Shade looked back to the nursery, then to the camp, all seemed quiet as she watched the sun disappear between the branches of the trees, a small star following it. She looked right up to the sky and saw the moon, it was pretty and peaceful, suddenly, the wind picked up, she felt the leaf get picked up from her ear and drift away, she charged after it "nwo! Wait weaf!" She called, but the leaf continued floating away, she stopped at the exit of to safe camp and watch the leaf disappear like the sun
