[SC/RC Mini Clan Plot] The Shadow Fish

Not sure what to tag it as, this was my best idea.

Plot Name: The Shadow Fish
Clans involved: RiverClan and ShadowClan
Characters Directly Involved:
Salmonkit (Me)
Scorchstar (Yosh)
Jaystar (Jay)

* Random RCers I'll recruit if it gets approved, but it will be for the minor part of recognizing Salmon(paw)kit and telling Jaystar*

Explain your Plot:
- Salmonkit was born shortly before the flood, where he had just started eating solid foods. Both of his parents died in the flood, and Salmonkit hit his head during the event. Because of this, he isn't the brightest car around in addition to not remembering his way of life before the flood happened, so he doesn't really grasp the concept of multiple clans. Up until this point, he's been taken care of by basically anyone he bugs, and while they obviously care about a kit he's not anyone's first thought when say, the cats are splitting up to return home.
- On the bridge, Salmonkit will meet Scorchstar and really like him so he sticks around him. Scorchstar will start to like Salmonkit as well.
- When the clans are getting ready to slip, it will be assumed that Salmonkit is ShadowClan because he looks like a NPC ShadowClan queen that died, and also had silver tabby kits before the flood. (All of these NPCs are dead, including the hypothetical father.)
- Scorchstar takes Salmonkit on as an adopted son and the two become very close.
- After the dust has settled with the RiverClan cats, one of the cats who had taken care of Salmonkit on the shores realizes that he's missing. Either they or a few cats who also remembered search for him for a little bit, but they don't find him and assume that he had passed away. These cat(s) feel super guilty for forgetting about the kit.
- Salmonkit becomes an apprentice of ShadowClan.
- One Gathering after being an apprentice for a few moons at ShadowClan, Salmon(paw)kit goes to his first Gathering. The cat/one of the cats that went looking for him recognizes him, finds out he's Salmon(paw)kit, and tells Jaystar after the Gathering (to not cause a war or anything, something like that.)
- Jaystar, obviously, will want Salmon(paw)kit back. He goes to Scorchstar and informs him Salmon(paw)kit is a RiverClanner, and should return to RiverClan. At this point, Scorchstar will be extremely bonded to Salmon(paw)kit, and views him as his own son.
- Salmon(paw)kit will not believe Jaystar, and insist on staying in ShadowClan with Scorchstar.
- [The ending isn't determined, and it would be cool if we can do it by RP. General ideas for an ending is Salmon(paw)kit being forced by Scorchstar to return, a fight over it, or some sort of other agreement. I am fine with any outcome.]


How will this impact the characters/clans involved?: Juicy tension after the flood, and angst for those thinking Salmonkit's "death". Possible fighting, but that's not positive. It also gives some realism to the chaos that would happen in this kind of situation, so it adds another aspect to the site's plot. Allows for really cool character growth.
