What are the duties of a medicine cat: To interpret signs sent by StarClan and to heal their Clanmates, as well as handling moonstone journeys for apprentices.
What you would do with this position: Mothpaw would be an interesting medicine cat apprentice, in part due to her personality: she's outgoing and cares deeply not only for her Clanmates, but friends and strangers in other Clans as well. Despite that, she also has a tendency to become incredibly aggressive toward anything she perceives as a threat to anyone she cares about. There could also be potential drama with her sister Silentpaw and her sister's mate (one of Lichenmask's children), and Silentpaw herself (due to Mothpaw being given the position instead of Silentpaw). Beyond that, it would force her to become more reliant on herself, where in the past she's relied heavily on others.
Why you think you deserve this position: I don't think it's about deserving the position, just about being able to bring something new and interesting to the table. Beyond that, I've held the position before with Featherlight (for 8-9 months, if I remember correctly, mostly as MCA), and I'd like to consider myself active most of the time.
