Frozenpaw wandered the territory, bored out of her mind and tired of the restrictions her training put on her. She just wanted to explore instead of being stuck in camp all the time. The young she-cat trotted through the icy plains, not particularly paying attention to her surroundings, when her paw met the hard gravel of the Thunderpath. She'd never patrolled this area before, or really anywhere, so she was unfamiliar with the significance of this path. She could smell the scent markers and knew that this must have signaled the presence of another clan, but she didn't know which and she didn't really care. They weren't here now, only she was. The proud apprentice strolled across the path, unaware of the danger, and continued to sniff and explore.

With life back at camp so dull and nauseating with all the warrior code mumbo-jumbo, Slatepaw had decided to take it upon himself to patrol the borders alone. He didn't really believe in all that StarClan nonsense, although it seemed as though the clan cats had gotten to his siblings, which wasn't a surprise. Unlike them, he wouldn't fall prey to their useless clan-cat antics. Prayer in cats made of stars... what mouse-dung. Quite frankly, he had better things to be focusing on.

Walking along the borders, the sight of a WindClan cat making her way across the path set off an immediate red flag. He wasn't one to really care about rules and could care less if she trespassed or not, but he was always down for a fight and this was the perfect opportunity, seeing as though he couldn't get in trouble for simple "protecting the borders."

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" The abnormally large, fluffy black and grey tom yowled from a fox length or so down the path, standing up tall and puffing out his chest fur to look as large as possible, showing that he wouldn't show any mercy if need be.

Frozenpaw halted in place, fixing the other apprentice with a curious look. My, he was a big one. Cute, too, but she knew this was the wrong situation to say anything of that nature. This was an encounter of a more aggressive nature, or so the puffing of his fur told her, and so she took a few careful steps backwards to keep the space between them and responded with a dainty meow, "Oh, are you talking to me? I'm sorry, have I disrupted you while you were concentrating?"

Ears flat and fluffy body now low to the ground, Slatepaw growled from deep within his throat as she made her snide comment. How dare she intrude on his land and make jokes! What a feather-brain. Not wasting a moment more, the abnormally large apprentice pounced on the she-cat. Pinning her down and digging his claws into her shoulders, a somewhat crazed smile grew on his muzzle as blood began to ooze out from her soft pelt as he stood over her, easily holding her down under his weight. Oh how he loved the scent of fresh blood. "You should've kept your mouth shut," he hissed in her ear as he continued to score his large, hind claws down the she-cat's back.

Slatepaw used Leap and Hold, causing 6 damage and costing 10 stamina. Frozenpaw is pinned for 1 turn.

Frozenpaw gasped, surprised by the sudden attack, and then yelped as she felt claws rake through her fur and break skin. She'd had only basic fight training and hadn't had to use it before, so her mind was racing and fear was beginning to race through her body as her heart pounded inside her chest. The tom was very big and heavy, and despite her struggling, she was trapped under his weight.

Continuing to hold her down under his weight, the warm, sweet scent of her blood oozing from her sides sent a pleasureful shiver up his spine and the large tom held a grin on his muzzle. He was obviously going to win this fight, which he couldn't have been more proud of. He hadn't even had too much battle training to begin with, but his destructive instincts had kicked in, which he couldn't have been more proud of, especially as he held the slim WindClan cat down.
