Let's find some fish!

Heronflight had organized another patrol, this time with Coldgaze and Badgerpaw.  Hopefully, the gray tabby tom could know what they were thinking.

Badgerpaw walked towards Heronflight, her adoptive father. She was just on the patrol to hunt. Waiting for Coldgaze to appear, the black-and-white she-cat did not make eye contact with Heronflight at all.

Coldgaze padded towards Heronflight and Badgerpaw. Great, just great, she was on yet another hunting patrol, she couldn't say she hated it but she strongly disliked it, mostly because hunting wasn't something she where good at.  She looked at the two cat, she hadn't interacted with them at all before and didn't know much about them, nor did she care about them, atleast she didn't have to go on another patrol with Wolfsong, she needed to atleast try being more respectful and nice toward other's and with Wolfsong around she couldn't and she couldn't have anyone telling Jaystar about her being disrespectful once again, that would just be alot of trouble for her... As she reached the other two cats she meowed "I assume you two were waiting for me? Well here I am, so let's go. I wanna get this over with.".

Heronflight smiled.  "Okay, let's go!" he said.  The gray tabby tom led his patrol out of camp.  Soon, they arrived at a creek, where the gray tabby tom saw a green toad.  He knew that a toad would be good prey for RiverClan, so the experienced warrior went into his hunter's crouch to sneak up towards the toad.  He knew that to hunt well, you needed to be stealthy so the prey wouldn't hear you.  The gray tabby tom was getting closer... closer... missed. Darn it, he thought as he looked for another piece of prey.

Badgerpaw followed Heronflight grudgingly, and started to sneak up on a bird.  The feathered creature was no match for her, she thought as she went into her hunter's crouch. The black-and-white she-cat was getting closer and closer before she pounced. Success. She just caught her first piece of prey! Upon that thought, she realized, What have I been doing during this time?

Coldgaze tasted the air and caught the scent of a water vole, she dropped into a hunting crouch and slowly creept towards it, the vole wasn't that big but it's still eatable. She stopped close behind it and then threw herself at it. It tried to get away and she lost the grip on it, she growled quietly and threw herself forward once more and this time she got a better grip on it and managed to snap it's neck. She looked at it for a few seconds before she padded over to a bush and burried the vole under the bush for the moment. She then looked around to see if she could find any other prey.

Heronflight decided that he would try to catch a fish.  For him, looking for fish helped to clear his mind.  That's why he enjoyed it so much.  Suddenly, the water rippled, and the gray tabby tom swung an outstretched paw at it. [color=MidnightBlue]Success.[color] The gray tabby tom pulled it onto the shore and bit the fish's head off. Heronflight then buried it, so nobody could steal it.

Coldgaze looked around and tasted the air and this time she caught the scent of a lizard and started stalking towards it, when she got close enough she threw herself at the lizard but it quickly ran away before she could dig her claws into it, she let out a low sigh as she saw it dashing away.
