Sparrowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Swiftstep jumped up onto the Tallrock with a thoughtful expression on his face. Windclan was now living in peace after the exiles had been defeated during the battle that took place not too long ago. It felt...surreal. It was calming to be honest. Today, one of the young kits would be leaving the nursery behind to start a new chapter in their life. This kit would be training and growing in an era of serenity and calmness. The deputy couldn't help but to crack a small smile. He quickly regained his composure before starting the ceremony. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" Swiftstep called with an authoritative tone.

Sparrowkit stared out as the deputy called a meeting, tilting her head in confusion. It didn't click it was for her until her foster mother nudged her, and she stumbled out into the clearing. She sat down politely in front of the Tallrock, filled with anxiety and excitement.

The brown tom looked directly down at Sparrowkit before continuing, "We all gather here today to make one of our kits an apprentice. Sparrowkit, please step forward." Once the young cat did, the deputy nodded approvingly and then began to speak again, "Sparrowkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sparrowpaw. Nectarleap will be your mentor. He's one of the most experienced warriors in Windclan. I know he'll pass down everything he knows on to you."
