Curiousity gets the apprentice (Closed)

A splash broke the quiet calm of the river. A slender she-cat was deftly swimming her way over the stream without fear until she reached the other side. Where flat rocks lay spread around. Normally, a cat would come here to sun, or so she was told. Today, she came here to catch prey. Though her eyes wandered to the bushes lining the edge. Was all of ThunderClan really a bunch of battle-hungry cats? The bruises still ached from her last encounter with the fierce white she-cat. Surely not. There had to be some friendlier cats.

She hoped. With a careful glance around, she tentatively took a step towards the border. Just a peak. She wanted to see what the fuss was about the thicker woods.

Flamepaw had been messing around in the territory when she hears heard pawsteps coming from Sunningrocks. She went to investigate and hid behind a large bush. She saw a Riverclan apprentice cross and start looking around. 'Oh no you don't!' Flamepaw hissed in her head. She jumped out and ran at full force, tackling the other apprentice to the ground. "What do you think you're doing here?!" she growled as fiercely as she could. She wasn't normally a violent she-cat but she hated trespassers.

Of course there had been a cat on the other side. Blossompaw suppressed a groan at the realisation that she was most certainly busted. Still, she snarled and writhed away from Flamepaw's grip. Her slick pelt helping her to slip away from the claws that had grabbed onto her.
"What does it look like? I'm exploring." She hissed back, hackles up as she slowly stalked around Flamepaw, assessing the other she-cat carefully. She had already underestimated one of them. She wouldn't make the same mistake again. With a fierce yowl, she plunged forward and leapt at her opponent with outstretched claws.

Flamepaw pouted and glared at the she-cat pinning her. "Why are you exploring on Thunderclan territory? Can't you do that...I don't know...in your own territory?!" The apprentice was very annoyed.

Blossompaw hissed as her claws scored down Flamepaw once more before she relented and released the other apprentice from her pin. She padded over to the nearest rock and sat on it, a sense of arrogance in the movements, with a cheeky smile as she looked back over at Flamepaw.
"There. Now I'm back on Sunningrocks. RiverClan territory, you can keep your flea bitten woods anyways." Blossompaw paused, scratching behind her ear as if the other apprentice wasn't a threat at all. "Who needs that mess when we have the river?"

Flamepaw spat and jumped a few lengths away. "How could you Riverclanners stand eating smelly fish anyway? You all smell as bad as them. Why don't you run along and go bathe in the River. You really need it!" The apprentice then ran up to the other cat, pushed her down, and raked her claws on her belly.

Blossompaw grunted as she was pushed down onto the rocks. Her body writhing beneath Flamepaw's while she attempted to escape. A flash of blue in her vision gave her an idea as she wrenched herself free and padded backwards a couple steps. Letting the other apprentice get close before she lunged, claws digging deep into the other cat's scruff until she pulled her into the water of the river.
"After YOU!" She yowled before biting down to make sure her hold stuck.

Flamepaw gasped as she was shoved underwater. That was a clever but dirty move. The she-cat managed to escape the other's clutches. She shook water from her eyes as she backed up. She knew she was beat. The apprentice hissed and prepared to defend herself as well as reserve her energy.

The pale orange and grey calico smirked confidently as Flamepaw managed to wriggle free of her clutches. The water didn't bother her in the least as she leapt out of it with a fearsome fury, only to cuff the other apprentice on the back of the head. She smirked and withdrew her paw to lick it confidently.
"I think it's time for you to run home." She mewed boldly, her tail high as she padded forwards towards Flamepaw with a glint in her green eyes. "Or we could keep fighting."



Blossompaw used Front-paw Blow. Flamepaw is KO'd
